When ASC's Cees Schipper in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nattenhoven's goalie prevented a goal. Rafael Scheer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cees Schipper, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Coos Ottenhof charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Coos Ottenhof the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Cees Schipper had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of ASC booed when Nattenhoven was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Casper Zomerdijk didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Egbert Andriessen came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Nattenhoven fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Egbert Andriessen couldn't finish the play. In the 24th minute, one of ASC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for ASC. The score was 1-1 after a penalty in the 26th minute, where Nattenhoven:s Nico-Jan Pepping tricked ASC:s Mickael Tamminga with a difficult ball by the left post. Egbert Andriessen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 30th minute, Bernard Ricksen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 32 minutes, Bernard Ricksen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ASC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernard Ricksen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernard Ricksen in the 34th minute of play forced Nattenhoven's goalkeeper Rafael Scheer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernard Ricksen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernard Ricksen in the 45th minute of play forced Nattenhoven's goalkeeper Rafael Scheer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 46 minutes into the match, Nattenhoven's Egbert Andriessen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mickael Tamminga narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Casper Zomerdijk struck a weak shot in the 49th minute. Mickael Tamminga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nattenhoven. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Casper Zomerdijk made the kick off in the second half. Mickael Tamminga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Casper Zomerdijk, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Egbert Andriessen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61st minute, Egbert Andriessen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mickael Tamminga was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. After a defensive mix-up in Nattenhoven's zone, Bernard Ricksen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafael Scheer came out of the goal and Bernard Ricksen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rafael Scheer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Klaas van Zelst in the 68th minute of the match. Mickael Tamminga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Casper Zomerdijk, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Egbert Andriessen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Mickael Tamminga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, ASC's Ernst Opdam got a free kick in the 78th minute. Bernard Ricksen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Scheer having to interfere. After 89 played minutes Nattenhoven got a freekick which was hit by Coos Ottenhof. Bernard Ricksen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ferdinant van der Stoel's late challenge caught a ASC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ferdinant van der Stoel helped the player get up and apologised. Bernard Ricksen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Scheer having to interfere. Egbert Andriessen might have been able to make a better finish in the 98th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mickael Tamminga. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Egbert Andriessen ran back to his position shaking his head. The Nattenhoven support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
