Spectators: 7351 (Terracing: 5514, Seating: 1690, VIP seats: 147) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Wouter Oorthuis kicked off to start the match. Jan-Willem Mussies tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. ZarZoR's Harmen Ooijer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save ZarZoR from getting a goal against them. Harmen Ooijer came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Giraffes United's Wouter Oorthuis. But to his dismay, Wouter Oorthuis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 24th minute, Jan Staarman made a precise shot to the right of Jan-Willem Mussies. Giraffes United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Jan-Willem Mussies showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frans Klein, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 31st match minute, Giraffes United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michel Verweijen to maneuver through the defense. 33 minutes into the match, Giraffes United's goal looked a bit too open when Hans Slot came free, but Jan-Willem Mussies reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jan-Willem Mussies made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hans van der Woude in the 34th minute of play. Jan-Willem Mussies showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frans Klein, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. With a little luck, ZarZoR's Harmen Ooijer got control of the ball when Wouter Oorthuis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Giraffes United's Jan-Willem Mussies played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hans Slot in the 44th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

If Gregor Pruischer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. ZarZoR's Harmen Ooijer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregor Pruischer in the 56th minute of play. Harmen Ooijer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregor Pruischer in the 57th minute of the match. Gregor Pruischer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gregor Pruischer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Harmen Ooijer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jan-Willem Mussies took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan Staarman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Hans Slot could shoot a difficult shot in the 77th minute, which Jan-Willem Mussies however easily saved by the left post. Harmen Ooijer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wouter Oorthuis, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Harmen Ooijer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wouter Oorthuis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jan-Willem Mussies made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Hans Slot sent off a good shot on target. In the 92nd minute Wouter Oorthuis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harmen Ooijer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wouter Oorthuis in the 93rd minute of play forced ZarZoR's goalkeeper Harmen Ooijer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 95 minutes into the match, ZarZoR's goal looked a bit too open when Wouter Oorthuis came free, but Harmen Ooijer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
