Spectators: 7504 (Terracing: 5629, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 149) The crowd rose to their feet as Otto Breugel kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ferdi van Veldhuizen. That made the score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. Otto Breugel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferdi van Veldhuizen having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Job de Hoop in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joris Evenhuis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Limburgse Jagers's Joris Evenhuis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Taco Schouten in the 13th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Allard Abbekerk managed to get in a good position for a shot. Limburgse Jagers's supporters rose to their feet, but Allard Abbekerk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ferdi van Veldhuizen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Taco Schouten recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Taco Schouten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jelmer Kuijsten hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Job de Hoop received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Joris Evenhuis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Limburgse Jagers's Pieter van der Vaart got a free kick in the 34th minute. Taco Schouten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joris Evenhuis having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Otto Breugel made the kick off in the second half. Dirk Jan Blind scored 1-1 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joris Evenhuis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Joris Evenhuis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Job de Hoop's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Taco Schouten struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Joris Evenhuis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vrachelen SC. 66 minutes into the match, Limburgse Jagers's goalkeeper Joris Evenhuis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Taco Schouten. Limburgse Jagers's Joris Evenhuis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Limburgse Jagers from getting a goal against them. 76 minutes into the game, Dirk Jan Blind was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vrachelen SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Limburgse Jagers the free kick. A collision led to Vrachelen SC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Dirk Jan Blind hit a great ball. In the 82nd match minute, Vrachelen SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dirk Jan Blind to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 83 minutes, Allard Abbekerk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Limburgse Jagers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Allard Abbekerk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Joris Evenhuis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Job de Hoop in the 89th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the match, Vrachelen SC's Job de Hoop sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joris Evenhuis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vrachelen SC played a much better game than Limburgse Jagers and deserved their victory. The Limburgse Jagers players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
