Spectators: 6690 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1690, VIP seats: 0) Castenray FC's Marcel Sparnaaij started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 10 minutes, Marcel Sparnaaij mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Castenray FC and the corumspor players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Castenray FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Marcel Sparnaaij hit a great ball. corumspor's Bastiaan Hassel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arie Stigt in the 20th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Jurre Post managed to get in a good position for a shot. Castenray FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jurre Post was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bastiaan Hassel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bastiaan Hassel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herbert Kuys, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute, Folker Huisingh left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The corumspor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Marcel Sparnaaij received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Bastiaan Hassel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Herbert Kuys who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 53rdth minute tested the skills of Bastiaan Hassel when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 55th minute, Marcel Sparnaaij fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Bastiaan Hassel, passed just outside the right post. A collision led to Castenray FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Douwe Hilkes hit a great ball. Jurre Post received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Bastiaan Hassel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 69 minutes into the match, corumspor's goal looked a bit too open when Marcel Sparnaaij came free, but Bastiaan Hassel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Marcel Sparnaaij came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Castenray FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcel Sparnaaij couldn't finish the play. Herbert Kuys could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Bastiaan Hassel made a huge save. Bastiaan Hassel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jurre Post went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. The referee gave Castenray FC a penalty, 89 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ferdinant Hof, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of corumspor's Bastiaan Hassel. 2-3. In the 92nd match minute, corumspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wessel Soer to maneuver through the defense. Douwe Hilkes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The corumspor fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Castenray FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
