Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) When Torsten Jonasson came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Fimel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Torsten Jonasson couldn't finish the play. After 13 played minutes Delft got a freekick which was hit by Stephan van Zeggeren. Alex Ranzijn blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emil Fens having to make a save. The audience was convinced that Jonathan Roswinkel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emil Fens was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Torsten Jonasson got free with Emil Fens in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 22 minutes into the match, Delft's goalkeeper Emil Fens had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonathan Roswinkel. Hette Dost hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. After 25 minutes, Hette Dost mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Delft and the Fimel players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 25th match minute, Delft was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hette Dost to maneuver through the defense. Jan de Jong sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Fimel's Jakub Kiwior got a free kick in the 34th minute. With a little luck, Delft's Emil Fens got control of the ball when Torsten Jonasson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Torsten Jonasson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Egbert Stolte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stephan van Zeggeren in the 46th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Poels made a kick off. Fimel's Jan de Jong got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonathan Roswinkel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emil Fens read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Stephan van Zeggeren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Jonathan Roswinkel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dirk Jan Schattenberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emil Fens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torsten Jonasson in the 66th minute of play. In the 69thth minute of the game Jonathan Roswinkel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Delft's Emil Fens was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torsten Jonasson in the 71st minute of play forced Delft's goalkeeper Emil Fens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Torsten Jonasson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emil Fens having to interfere. Torsten Jonasson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emil Fens having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Delft's zone, Jakub Kiwior stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emil Fens came out of the goal and Jakub Kiwior tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Poels in the 90th minute of play forced Fimel's goalkeeper Egbert Stolte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute Daniel Poels shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egbert Stolte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jan de Jong kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Emil Fens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eric Reitsema, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Hette Dost was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 96 minutes had been played. After 97 played minutes Delft got a freekick which was hit by Hette Dost.
