Spectators: 5101 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 101) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Erben Holst got the match started through his kick off. Mark Timmer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wouter Zuurman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Popken in the 7th minute of the match. A collision led to Woudenberg FC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Jurre Lever hit a great ball. Mario Popken received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Wouter Zuurman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mark Timmer struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Wouter Zuurman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Woudenberg FC. After 19 played minutes Young F.C got a freekick which was hit by Falco Zeldenrust. Young F.C's Wouter Zuurman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Popken in the 20th minute of play. Woudenberg FC were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after Young F.C's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jurre Lever took the corner. The crowd rose to their feet as Young F.C's Alexander Kramer slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Maurits Weken. That made the score 1-0 after 26 minutes of play. If Erben Holst had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wouter Zuurman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mark Timmer in the 40th minute of play. Maurits Weken took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erben Holst, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 46 minutes into the match, Woudenberg FC's goal looked a bit too open when Erben Holst came free, but Maurits Weken reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The wind increased when Mario Popken made the kick off in the second half. Wouter Zuurman was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mario Popken showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 57 minute of play. Wouter Zuurman came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Woudenberg FC's Mark Timmer. But to his dismay, Mark Timmer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Falco Zeldenrust kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. If Erben Holst had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexander Kramer in the 74th minute of play forced Woudenberg FC's goalkeeper Maurits Weken to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alexander Kramer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alexander Kramer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Maurits Weken tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 81 minutes, Gerrit Reitsema mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Woudenberg FC and the Young F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 83rd minute, Erik Kristoffers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Teo Dam during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Woudenberg FC booed when Young F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teo Dam didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erik Kristoffers was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 95th minute. Woudenberg FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After having played for 98 minutes, Mario Popken managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Woudenberg FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mario Popken was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Young F.C supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Woudenberg FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Woudenberg FC.
