In a very dangerous position, a player in FC Ballenbak fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 91st minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Hans Frankena, was totally fooled by AFC Bamster's Jan-Joost van Gaal, who 92 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After a rather tough play, AFC Bamster's Ron Hebels got a free kick in the 96th minute. The supporters of FC Ballenbak booed when AFC Bamster was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frank Wittendorp didn't get a good kick on the ball. AFC Bamster's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
