SV Almere Squad's Jelle Pruischer suffered a sore thigh after 11 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Derk Bakhuis fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Apenhuizen's protests and gave Derk Bakhuis a yellow card for diving instead. Derk Bakhuis kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Falco Maurits took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joeri Stok, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Diderik Aelbrechts short, quick shot in the 17thth minute got Niels-Jan Maes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Apenhuizen's Max van Zomeren shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 21st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Niels-Jan Maes but with some difficulty. The Apenhuizen fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. SV Almere Squad were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
