Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gerjan Mosselveld started the match with the kick off. Diderik Aelbrecht might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hendrik Israel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Diderik Aelbrecht ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 5th match minute, SV Wassenaar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henk de Jaeger to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Apenhuizen booed when SV Wassenaar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peter van Olst didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rafael van Aalderen took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 9th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hendrik Israel. SV Wassenaar's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a little luck, SV Wassenaar's Hendrik Israel got control of the ball when Diderik Aelbrecht tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 18th minute, Diderik Aelbrecht got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Gerben Alards came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Apenhuizen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gerben Alards couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerben Alards in the 22nd minute of play forced SV Wassenaar's goalkeeper Hendrik Israel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Diderik Aelbrecht had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Peter van Olst hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. After 30 minutes SV Wassenaar's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rafael van Aalderen who took care of the corner kick. After a rather tough play, Apenhuizen's Derk Bakhuis got a free kick in the 31st minute. Diderik Aelbrecht received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Hendrik Israel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peter van Olst hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. If Diderik Aelbrecht had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gerben Alards fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hendrik Israel having to interfere. Diderik Aelbrecht could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Hendrik Israel made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gerben Alards in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hendrik Israel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 44 played minutes, Apenhuizen's Rafael van Aalderen shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hendrik Israel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Apenhuizen reached it. In the 45th minute, Apenhuizen's Gerben Alards ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hendrik Israel. Hendrik Israel yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

After having played for 58 minutes, Gerjan Mosselveld managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SV Wassenaar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gerjan Mosselveld was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Apenhuizen getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Derk Bakhuis hit a great ball. Gerjan Mosselveld received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Falco Maurits tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hendrik Israel came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Apenhuizen's Gerben Alards. But to his dismay, Gerben Alards quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Peter van Olst hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Hendrik Israel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gerben Alards's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. Gerjan Mosselveld recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 79thth minute of the game Diderik Aelbrecht who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SV Wassenaar's Hendrik Israel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Apenhuizen's Diderik Aelbrecht in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SV Wassenaar's goalie prevented a goal. Hendrik Israel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Diderik Aelbrecht went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Daniel Kort charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Daniel Kort the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 88th minute, Daniel Kort hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hendrik Israel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerben Alards, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 96thth minute of the game Diderik Aelbrecht who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SV Wassenaar's Hendrik Israel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Apenhuizen fans cheered their team off the field, for while SV Wassenaar had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
