Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) FC Dord's Jef Kroeze started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Steven de Freitas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dolf Caluwé in the 3rd minute of play. In the 5th minute Theo Hofman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Steven de Freitas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sipke Konterman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dirk Mulder came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Dord's Jef Kroeze. But to his dismay, Jef Kroeze quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Sipke Konterman managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Dord's supporters rose to their feet, but Sipke Konterman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dirk Mulder breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jef Kroeze was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 15th minute. FC Dord's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Steven de Freitas came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Kooihuizen Eendracht's Theo Hofman. But to his dismay, Theo Hofman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Vincent Jorna hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Huib Keupink blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dirk Mulder having to make a save. In the 32nd minute, Vincent Jorna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Kooihuizen Eendracht's zone, Huib Keupink stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dirk Mulder came out of the goal and Huib Keupink tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FC Dord's Steven de Freitas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Theo Hofman in the 36th minute of play. Sipke Konterman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Dirk Mulder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Kooihuizen Eendracht's Dirk Mulder got control of the ball when Huib Keupink tried to sneak it across the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Theo Hofman to strike the kick off in the second half. Sipke Konterman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dirk Mulder having to interfere. Han Rolink fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dirk Mulder having to interfere. Jef Kroeze's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dirk Mulder read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Geert Schreuder hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. In the 66th minute Sipke Konterman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dirk Mulder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sipke Konterman struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Dirk Mulder didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Dord. Kooihuizen Eendracht's Dirk Mulder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jef Kroeze in the 69th minute of play. In the 75th minute, Jef Kroeze got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jef Kroeze scored 2-1 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dirk Mulder, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 81 minutes into the game, FC Dord's Sipke Konterman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dirk Mulder made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. FC Dord walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
