Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gerwin Bas started the match with the kick off. When Boudewijn Groten came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Slenken fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Boudewijn Groten couldn't finish the play. Marcus ter Averst made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boudewijn Groten in the 9th minute of play. Kevin Wander kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. In the 31st minute Bert Dalman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerald Latten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kwadendanne's Bert Dalman got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gerwin Bas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerald Latten having to interfere. After 42 minutes, Boudewijn Groten made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Kwadendanne's Marcus ter Averst tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Gerald Latten took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerard Bennink, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Boudewijn Groten to make the kick off. Youri Luikens took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcus ter Averst. Marcus ter Averst dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Jurre Bult sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gerald Latten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerwin Bas, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 79th minute, Boudewijn Groten ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcus ter Averst was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. A collision led to Slenken getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Jurre Bult hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jurre Bult in the 87th minute of play forced Kwadendanne's goalkeeper Marcus ter Averst to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Slenken's Gerald Latten proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Slenken from getting a goal against them. When Gerwin Bas came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Kwadendanne fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gerwin Bas couldn't finish the play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Slenken fans cheered their team off the field, for while Kwadendanne had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
