When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Peter Westerhof sped through Templario's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Abraham Roordink. Joris Hulsebos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Templario's Abraham Roordink played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter Westerhof in the 22nd minute of play. Templario's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlo Dekker was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in FC LOOT's zone, Jurgen Oosterbaan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olof Evers came out of the goal and Jurgen Oosterbaan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FC LOOT's Olof Evers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geert Arend Ottenhof in the 44th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joris Hulsebos in the 46th minute of play forced Templario's goalkeeper Abraham Roordink to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 48 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Templario! The Templario players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC LOOT were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carlo Dekker stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Peter Westerhof fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Templario's Abraham Roordink played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joris Hulsebos in the 59th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 61 minutes, Abraham Roordink successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Abraham Roordink took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joris Hulsebos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 70 played minutes Templario got a freekick which was hit by Carlo Dekker. After 71 played minutes, FC LOOT's Herman Andriessen shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Abraham Roordink came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC LOOT reached it. Joris Hulsebos received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Abraham Roordink came out and tried to block the shot, but Joris Hulsebos slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 73rd minute. Joris Hulsebos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abraham Roordink read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Peter Westerhof fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abraham Roordink having to interfere. If Peter Westerhof had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Olof Evers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlo Dekker, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. In the 93rd minute, Peter Westerhof ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Abraham Roordink was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. In the 98th minute, Joris Hulsebos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched FC LOOT eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
