Sipke den Hertogh recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Sipke den Hertogh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kalkwijk's Peter van Amersfoort played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olaf Hesseling in the 19th minute of play. Alwin Wilson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Peter van Amersfoort tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peter van Amersfoort showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alwin Wilson, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 32nd minute of the match Jeroen Bodde shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Peter van Amersfoort showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Lucas Lindeman was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jhon Koops showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 34 minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Kalkwijk's Kristof Klasens dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jhon Koops was the one to do the kick off. When the match had been going on for 60 minutes, Kulsdom's Jouke Diest got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Peter van Amersfoort. Peter van Amersfoort made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olaf Hesseling in the 66th minute of play. Lukas Roewen's late challenge caught a Kalkwijk's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lukas Roewen helped the player get up and apologised. Lukas Roewen kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. 73 minutes into the game, Kalkwijk's Jhon Koops nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lucas Lindeman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. 78 minutes into the game, Ferry Hauvers was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kalkwijk's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kulsdom the free kick. Ferry Hauvers hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Alwin Wilson struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Peter van Amersfoort didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kulsdom. Alwin Wilson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Peter van Amersfoort made a huge save. After 86 minutes, Roel Lubbers mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kulsdom and the Kalkwijk players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 87 played minutes Kulsdom got a freekick which was hit by Roel Lubbers. Alwin Wilson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter van Amersfoort having to interfere. Jan-Peter Thomasse hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. In the 95th minute, Jouke Diest sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Kalkwijk's Peter van Amersfoort didn't even have to move. In the 99th match minute, Kalkwijk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kurt van Gaal to maneuver through the defense. For all the effort they put into the match, the Kulsdom players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Kalkwijk.
