Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Vincent Zuidam got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute, Elroy Eefting fired away a shot that was totally unreachable for Anthony Roordink. The ball ended up just outside the left post, and Zuidland FC's manager could be seen angrily pacing the sidelines. With a little luck, Delta3's Anthony Roordink got control of the ball when Harris Beukers tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zuidland FC were awarded a corner in the 8th minute after Delta3's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bastiaan Ritsma took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Tommie Knops heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Elroy Eefting sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Coos Tuyp's late challenge caught a Delta3's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Coos Tuyp helped the player get up and apologised. Coos Tuyp hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Elroy Eefting sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 30 minutes, Tommie Knops managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zuidland FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tommie Knops was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 32 minutes of play, Delta3's Iwan Stubbe made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Huib de Koning was left in no man's land by his defense there! Anthony Roordink was a little too slow when Elroy Eefting got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 35th minute. The score was now 1-1. Anthony Roordink stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tommie Knops's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. 44 minutes into the game, Zuidland FC's Elroy Eefting nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anthony Roordink made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. If Elroy Eefting had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tommie Knops to strike the kick off in the second half. Delta3's Anthony Roordink played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elroy Eefting in the 52nd minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, Tommie Knops notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Delta3's Anthony Roordink. Anthony Roordink was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 58 minutes into the match, Tommie Knops had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anthony Roordink. Delta3's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tommie Knops was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Zuidland FC's Elroy Eefting got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Zuidland FC's Tommie Knops in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Delta3's goalie prevented a goal. If Tommie Knops had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67thth minute of the game Elroy Eefting who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Delta3's Anthony Roordink was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Vincent Zuidam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. John Oosting hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Vincent Zuidam blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Huib de Koning having to make a save. Elroy Eefting might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anthony Roordink. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Elroy Eefting ran back to his position shaking his head. Iwan Stubbe in the 83rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Huib de Koning, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Tommie Knops managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zuidland FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tommie Knops was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anthony Roordink breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 91st match minute, Zuidland FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harris Beukers to maneuver through the defense. Zuidland FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
