Carlo van der Schans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Jan Harding tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, SVZ's goal looked a bit too open when Rein Roodenburg came free, but Jan Harding reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Roy Gerrits could shoot a difficult shot in the 18th minute, which Jan Harding however easily saved by the left post. After 21 played minutes SVZ got a freekick which was hit by Maarten Kromme. In the 22nd minute of the match Roy Gerrits shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jan Harding showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jan Harding showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rein Roodenburg, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. The audience was convinced that Stijn de Visscher's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carsten van Rijswijk was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. 28 minutes into the match, SVZ's goal looked a bit too open when Roy Gerrits came free, but Jan Harding reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SVZ were furious when Marcel Rinzema was red carded, 34 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 33 minutes into the game, one of SVZ:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 36th minute, the referee gave Terkaple S.V. a penalty. Jordi Zuidema looked confident and blasted the ball into goal by the left post, totally unstoppable for Jan Harding. Carsten van Rijswijk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erwin Sneijder in the 39th minute of the match. Maarten Kromme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carsten van Rijswijk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erwin Sneijder in the 42nd minute of play. If Erwin Sneijder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rein Roodenburg made a kick off. In the 59th minute, Carlo van der Schans made a precise shot to the right of Jan Harding. SVZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Carlo van der Schans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Carsten van Rijswijk came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by SVZ's Erwin Sneijder. But to his dismay, Erwin Sneijder quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. 90 minutes into the match, SVZ's goal looked a bit too open when Carlo van der Schans came free, but Jan Harding reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jan Harding made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roy Gerrits in the 94th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Terkaple S.V. had won after a very even match.
