Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Coenraad Bosz kicked off to start the match. Joost Grommers came free with the goalkeeper in the 6th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ivo Bartele could save by the left post. Joost Grommers could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Ivo Bartele made a huge save. In the 14th minute, Joost Grommers left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Silvolde fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 24thth minute of the game Jasper Bruin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Silvolde's Marnix Merenga was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ben Veninga kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Marnix Merenga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Otto Brandsma, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Joost Grommers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivo Bartele having to interfere. The supporters of Silvolde booed when ASF Amersfoort was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marnix Themmen didn't get a good kick on the ball. 44 minutes into the match, ASF Amersfoort's goal looked a bit too open when Joost Grommers came free, but Ivo Bartele reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Coenraad Bosz took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Ivo Bartele to make any attempt to save it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

ASF Amersfoort's Ivo Bartele played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joost Grommers in the 60th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Silvolde's goalkeeper Marnix Merenga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Otto Brandsma. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Jasper Bruin managed to get in a good position for a shot. ASF Amersfoort's supporters rose to their feet, but Jasper Bruin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marnix Merenga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to ASF Amersfoort getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Erik Bette hit a great ball. When Marnix Themmen fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ASF Amersfoort's protests and gave Marnix Themmen a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to ASF Amersfoort getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Marnix Themmen hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, ASF Amersfoort's Otto Brandsma got a free kick in the 89th minute.
