The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabian van Kampen got free with Reinhard van der Stoel in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jens Witting in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Niek de Zee saved LionKing SC from getting behind. Fabian van Kampen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reinhard van der Stoel having to interfere. Reinhard van der Stoel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
