The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bill Schipper kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. When Kelvin Kinear came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the FC Babalonia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kelvin Kinear couldn't finish the play. In the 5th minute, Eddy van Fessum hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When FC Babalonia's Kelvin Kinear in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye PSV FC's goalie prevented a goal. 13 minutes into the match, PSV FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Siepel came free, but Gijs Zuiverloon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute, PSV FC's Sjef van Zeijl dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 17th match minute, PSV FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oliver Hartlief to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, FC Babalonia's Rogier Tuyp got control of the ball when Sjef van Zeijl tried to sneak it across the goal line. FC Babalonia's Rogier Tuyp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oliver Hartlief in the 22nd minute of play. Rogier Tuyp made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sjef van Zeijl in the 24th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oliver Hartlief in the 25th minute of play forced FC Babalonia's goalkeeper Rogier Tuyp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wim Siepel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Gijs Zuiverloon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rdth minute of the game Kelvin Kinear who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PSV FC's Gijs Zuiverloon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in PSV FC's zone, Kelvin Kinear stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gijs Zuiverloon came out of the goal and Kelvin Kinear tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kelvin Kinear to strike the kick off in the second half. Kelvin Kinear blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gijs Zuiverloon having to make a save. 56 minutes into the match, PSV FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kelvin Kinear came free, but Gijs Zuiverloon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Kelvin Kinear managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Babalonia's supporters rose to their feet, but Kelvin Kinear was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gijs Zuiverloon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Wim Siepel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gijs Zuiverloon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kelvin Kinear's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kelvin Kinear got free with Gijs Zuiverloon in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 73 minutes into the game, PSV FC's Oliver Hartlief nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rogier Tuyp made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roeland Hummel in the 80th minute of play forced FC Babalonia's goalkeeper Rogier Tuyp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kelvin Kinear's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gijs Zuiverloon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Gijs Zuiverloon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kelvin Kinear's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. The supporters of FC Babalonia booed when PSV FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bill Schipper didn't get a good kick on the ball. PSV FC's Gijs Zuiverloon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save PSV FC from getting a goal against them. 93 minutes into the game, Kelvin Kinear cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Gijs Zuiverloon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Many of FC Babalonia's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. FC Babalonia may have spent more time on the ball, but PSV FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
