Dirk Jan Heeringa kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. After 6 minutes, Niels-Jan Baaijen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Troepmannen and the Bakbrochjes players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Bakbrochjes booed when Troepmannen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niels-Jan Baaijen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Frits Eschendaal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Jacobs having to interfere. Frits Eschendaal scored 0-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fernando Jacobs, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 14thth minute of the game Frits Eschendaal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Troepmannen's Fernando Jacobs was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Troepmannen getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Dirk Jan Heeringa hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frits Eschendaal in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fernando Jacobs saved Troepmannen from getting behind. Hans-Cees Bemmel kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Fernando Jacobs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frits Eschendaal in the 27th minute of play. Frits Eschendaal struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Fernando Jacobs didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bakbrochjes. Bakbrochjes's Victor Keller quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Izaak Kruijs, made in the 34th minute of the game. Fernando Jacobs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frits Eschendaal in the 36th minute of the match. If Frits Eschendaal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maikel van Rhijn scored 1-1 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bram Denneboom, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 44 played minutes, Troepmannen's Joep van Ankeren shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bram Denneboom came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Troepmannen reached it. 45 minutes into the match, Troepmannen's goal looked a bit too open when Frits Eschendaal came free, but Fernando Jacobs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gerard Bergmeester fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Jacobs having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frits Eschendaal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Gerard Bergmeester ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fernando Jacobs was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Frits Eschendaal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Troepmannen's zone, Frits Eschendaal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernando Jacobs came out of the goal and Frits Eschendaal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Troepmannen's Dirk Jan Heeringa got a free kick in the 64th minute. Frits Eschendaal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maikel van Rhijn in the 68th minute of play forced Bakbrochjes's goalkeeper Bram Denneboom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bram Denneboom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pieter Koopmans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th minute, Frits Eschendaal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fernando Jacobs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Keller, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. After some careless play in the Troepmannen defense, Frits Eschendaal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fernando Jacobs. The Troepmannen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fernando Jacobs should have stopped the shot. 83 minutes into the game, Aad Saeijs was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bakbrochjes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Troepmannen the free kick. Aad Saeijs kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Frits Eschendaal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fernando Jacobs having to make a save. If Frits Eschendaal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Troepmannen's zone, Victor Keller stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernando Jacobs came out of the goal and Victor Keller tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Bakbrochjes's Frits Eschendaal got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Frits Eschendaal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Jacobs having to interfere. The Troepmannen fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Bakbrochjes were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
