Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Bastiaan Famelen took the kick off in the first half of the match. Marinus Wagemakers received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Joop Damen came out and tried to block the shot, but Marinus Wagemakers slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 4th minute. Berend Schuttrup charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Berend Schuttrup the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Respelhoek getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Berend Schuttrup hit a great ball. Jeffrey Driel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Casper Bijlsma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Marinus Wagemakers in the 10th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Joop Damen kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 2-0 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. When Marinus Wagemakers came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Respelhoek fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marinus Wagemakers couldn't finish the play. In the 16th minute, Bastiaan Famelen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Casper Bijlsma was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Berend Schuttrup kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 22ndth minute. Though ot was a great shot Spartak Zoetermeer's keeper Joop Damen was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Casper Bijlsma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeffrey Driel in the 27th minute of the match. Joop Damen made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Simon Stubbe sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Spartak Zoetermeer getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Andre van Gaal hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Spartak Zoetermeer's zone, Simon Stubbe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joop Damen came out of the goal and Simon Stubbe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Casper Bijlsma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeffrey Driel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marinus Wagemakers struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Joop Damen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Respelhoek. After 42 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Spartak Zoetermeer! All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Marinus Wagemakers made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Marinus Wagemakers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Respelhoek's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marinus Wagemakers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 54 minutes into the match, Respelhoek's Marinus Wagemakers sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joop Damen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Joop Damen came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Respelhoek's Simon Stubbe. But to his dismay, Simon Stubbe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. In the 68th minute, Marinus Wagemakers made a precise shot to the right of Joop Damen. Spartak Zoetermeer's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. Joop Damen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simon Stubbe in the 71st minute of the match. A collision led to Spartak Zoetermeer getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Andre van Gaal hit a great ball. Spartak Zoetermeer's Joop Damen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simon Stubbe in the 78th minute of play. In the 79th minute, Marinus Wagemakers left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Respelhoek fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. The supporters of Spartak Zoetermeer booed when Respelhoek was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Berend Schuttrup didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 86 minutes, Simon Stubbe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Respelhoek's supporters crossed their fingers, but Simon Stubbe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 92nd minute, Berend Schuttrup made a precise shot to the right of Joop Damen. Spartak Zoetermeer's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-1. When Respelhoek's Simon Stubbe in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Spartak Zoetermeer's goalie prevented a goal. When the referee ended the match the Respelhoek players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
