In the 3rd match minute, Schoonloo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eyüp Osmanoğlu to maneuver through the defense. After 5 minutes, Gooitzen Engelaar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Meister SV and the Schoonloo players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 5 played minutes Meister SV got a freekick which was hit by Gooitzen Engelaar. If Melih Bahar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ralph van Fessum made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefano Wessels in the 10th minute of play. In the 11th minute Koen Dekkers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ralph van Fessum saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dirk Jan Wemers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 16 minutes into the match, Schoonloo's goalkeeper Ralph van Fessum had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stefano Wessels. Koen Dekkers took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ralph van Fessum. Ralph van Fessum dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Ralph van Fessum showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gooitzen Engelaar in the 24th minute of the match. In the 27th match minute, Schoonloo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fokke Veentjer to maneuver through the defense. If Stefano Wessels had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 30 minutes into the match, Koen Dekkers had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ralph van Fessum. Schoonloo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Koen Dekkers was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Roeland Stout's late challenge caught a Schoonloo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roeland Stout helped the player get up and apologised. After 33 played minutes Meister SV got a freekick which was hit by Roeland Stout. Schoonloo's Ralph van Fessum played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gooitzen Engelaar in the 37th minute of play. Ralph van Fessum made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Roeland Stout sent off a good shot on target. Ralph van Fessum was a little too slow when Gooitzen Engelaar got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 45th minute. The score was now 3-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Maurits Brouwers stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gooitzen Engelaar in the 54th minute of play forced Schoonloo's goalkeeper Ralph van Fessum to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Roeland Stout notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Schoonloo's Ralph van Fessum. Ralph van Fessum was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Stefano Wessels scored 5-0 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ralph van Fessum, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 65 minutes, Eyüp Osmanoğlu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Schoonloo and the Meister SV players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 81 played minutes Schoonloo got a freekick which was hit by Emile Thomasse. After a defensive mix-up in Schoonloo's zone, Stefano Wessels stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ralph van Fessum came out of the goal and Stefano Wessels tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ralph van Fessum showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Koen Dekkers, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. 86 minutes into the match, Schoonloo's goal looked a bit too open when Andre Apotheker came free, but Ralph van Fessum reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eyüp Osmanoğlu was shown his second yellow card after 86 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Meister SV booed when Schoonloo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eyüp Osmanoğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Meister SV's Tonnie Ritsma got a free kick in the 88th minute. Ralph van Fessum made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefano Wessels in the 95th minute of play. Schoonloo's Ralph van Fessum played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Koen Dekkers in the 96th minute of play.
