Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ernest Wilbrink kicked off to start the match. Ferry Bult made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Youri Schuurmans sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nigel Kun during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ees FC's Nigel Kun got a free kick in the 6th minute. After 9 played minutes, Ees FC's Robert-Jan Mans shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jean-Paul Gerfen came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ees FC reached it. 12 minutes into the match, Ees FC's goalkeeper Ferry Bult had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oscar Ottenhof. Ferry Bult was a little too slow when Youri Schuurmans got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 14th minute. The score was now 1-0. If Gilbert de Jager had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ees FC's Ferry Bult played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Youri Schuurmans in the 21st minute of play. With 26 minutes on the clock, Robert-Jan Mans commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ees FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 26th minute. Penalty! Albert Schuiling sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ferry Bult came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by AFC tygoat's Oscar Ottenhof. But to his dismay, Oscar Ottenhof quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Through an outstanding action, after 40 minutes, Ferry Bult successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 44 minutes in the game, Joost Baars fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ferry Bult having to interfere. In the 45th minute Youri Schuurmans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferry Bult saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

In the 52nd minute, Youri Schuurmans made a precise shot to the right of Ferry Bult. Ees FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. The supporters of AFC tygoat booed when Ees FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernest Wilbrink didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 59th minute Joost Baars shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferry Bult saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ferry Bult made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Youri Schuurmans in the 70th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oscar Ottenhof in the 72nd minute of play forced Ees FC's goalkeeper Ferry Bult to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Joost Baars had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ferry Bult made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Ottenhof in the 82nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Youri Schuurmans in the 85th minute of play forced Ees FC's goalkeeper Ferry Bult to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ferry Bult showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joost Baars, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. The throw-in from Timmie Daems in the 90th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Ees FC's Hugo van Zwam. Ferry Bult didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Oscar Ottenhof went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. AFC tygoat had played much better football throughout.
