The supporters of Langstraat SV booed when Fc Babalonia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andreas Deitmers didn't get a good kick on the ball. Henry Rijkaard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Theo Scheer to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpected shot in the 86th minute by Henry Rijkaard got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Menno Drent received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Bram Lange tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Fc Babalonia could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Langstraat SV throughout the match.
