Spectators: 7258 (Terracing: 5583, Seating: 1575, VIP seats: 100) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Chris Roeles kicked off to start the match. Chris Roeles took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anthony Trenning. Anthony Trenning dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Anthony Trenning didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Chris Roeles went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Chris Roeles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anthony Trenning having to interfere. In the 19th minute, Nikos Mastoras got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Harm Reitsema fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anthony Trenning having to interfere. In the 25th match minute, Monster Energy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Steve van Kampen to maneuver through the defense. Chris Roeles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Anthony Trenning tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 28 played minutes Monster Energy got a freekick which was hit by Dirk van Asseldonk. After 31 played minutes Monster Energy got a freekick which was hit by Dirk van Asseldonk. Chris Roeles blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anthony Trenning having to make a save. Anthony Trenning was out of position in the 36 minute of play, and Harm Reitsema capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Harm Reitsema really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. If Harm Reitsema had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 48th minute, Boudewijn Schuurmans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 49th minute of the match, Chris Roeles got a very nice opportunity to score, but Anthony Trenning was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gerard Lemmen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harm Reitsema in the 53rd minute of play forced Monster Energy's goalkeeper Anthony Trenning to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Martien van der Haar came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Donkereind fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Martien van der Haar couldn't finish the play. 57 minutes into the match, Monster Energy's Gerard Lemmen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tommie Evenhuis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The throw-in from Steve Prinsen in the 60th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Donkereind's David Meijering. Chris Roeles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Anthony Trenning tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chris Roeles struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Anthony Trenning didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Donkereind. With a little luck, Donkereind's Tommie Evenhuis got control of the ball when Pim van Heiningen tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Gerard Lemmen came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Monster Energy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gerard Lemmen couldn't finish the play. 85 minutes into the match, Harm Reitsema had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anthony Trenning. Monster Energy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Harm Reitsema was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Pim van Heiningen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Tommie Evenhuis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nikos Mastoras blasted a shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anthony Trenning having to make a save. There was no doubt that Donkereind were the better team. Donkereind's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
