Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Woezik HC's Wouter Steffens started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience held their breath when Otto de Jong in the 11th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Bruno Looze's left hand side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wouter Steffens in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eelco Lans saved Uw Expert from getting behind. If Emil Piening had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32ndth minute of the game Ted de Cler who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Woezik HC's Bruno Looze was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Emil Piening sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Uw Expert's Eelco Lans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wouter Steffens in the 38th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Uw Expert's zone, Emil Piening stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eelco Lans came out of the goal and Emil Piening tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 46th match minute, Uw Expert was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cor Oosterveld to maneuver through the defense. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Hardering to strike the kick off in the second half. Uw Expert's Eelco Lans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emil Piening in the 58th minute of play. After 60 minutes, Robert Mol mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Uw Expert and the Woezik HC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eelco Lans made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Woezik HC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
