Foeke Zuidam took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michael van Gessel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marco Lamey struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Tom Mik didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AFC Ajax. AFC Ajax's Foeke Zuidam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michael van Gessel in the 18th minute of play. After a rather tough play, AFC Ajax's Geale de Freitas got a free kick in the 19th minute. 22 minutes into the game, Co Schattenberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Foeke Zuidam was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 26 minutes into the match, AFC Ajax's goal looked a bit too open when Co Schattenberg came free, but Foeke Zuidam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute Andy Zeegelaar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Foeke Zuidam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, AFC Ajax's goal looked a bit too open when Michael van Gessel came free, but Foeke Zuidam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Andy Zeegelaar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 44 played minutes AFC Ajax got a freekick which was hit by Huub Wegman. Foeke Zuidam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andy Zeegelaar in the 47th minute of play. The AFC Ajax players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Lombok HC were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marco Lamey was the one to do the kick off. Foeke Zuidam was a little too slow when Co Schattenberg got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 54th minute. The score was now 0-3. With a little luck, AFC Ajax's Foeke Zuidam got control of the ball when Michael van Gessel tried to sneak it across the goal line. AFC Ajax's defense didn't have a chance, in the 65th minute, when Michael van Gessel scored to the left of an out of position Foeke Zuidam, making the score, 0-4. Foeke Zuidam showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andy Zeegelaar in the 70th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Lombok HC's zone, Marco Lamey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tom Mik came out of the goal and Marco Lamey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 75 minutes, Geale de Freitas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AFC Ajax's supporters crossed their fingers, but Geale de Freitas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tom Mik didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marco Lamey went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. 82 minutes into the match, AFC Ajax's goal looked a bit too open when Co Schattenberg came free, but Foeke Zuidam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marco Lamey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tom Mik having to interfere. Lombok HC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
