Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Fred Aerssen took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute, Boudewijn Middeljans ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ulf Uter was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Ulf Uter made an important save on a dangerous shot by Boudewijn Middeljans in the 7th minute. In the 8th minute, Fred Aerssen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ulf Uter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan Brouwers in the 11th minute of play. Boudewijn Middeljans's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ulf Uter firmly grabbed it by the left post. Soerendonk HC's Ulf Uter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dick van Rijswijk in the 15th minute of play. Ulf Uter was a little too slow when Dick van Rijswijk got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 16th minute. The score was now 2-0. Soerendonk HC's Ulf Uter proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Soerendonk HC from getting a goal against them. Soerendonk HC's Ulf Uter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Brouwers in the 21st minute of play. After 26 played minutes Soerendonk HC got a freekick which was hit by Johannes Nibbelke. Coenraad Heije sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Boudewijn Middeljanss short, quick shot in the 29thth minute got Ulf Uter to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 34 minutes into the match, Soerendonk HC's goalkeeper Ulf Uter had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Boudewijn Middeljans. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jochem Wielens got free with Ulf Uter in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 40 minutes into the match, Soerendonk HC's goalkeeper Ulf Uter had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jochem Wielens. Boudewijn Middeljans could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Ulf Uter made a huge save. In the 43rd minute, Chivas's Jan Brouwers dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. Soerendonk HC's Ulf Uter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dick van Rijswijk in the 55th minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, Soerendonk HC's goal looked a bit too open when Boudewijn Middeljans came free, but Ulf Uter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jochem Wielens in the 61st minute of play forced Soerendonk HC's goalkeeper Ulf Uter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dick van Rijswijk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Ulf Uter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Soerendonk HC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Fred Aerssen hit a great ball. In the 67th minute, Dick van Rijswijk left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chivas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. The penalty shot was made by Coenraad Heije, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Soerendonk HC's Ulf Uter. 6-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jochem Wielens in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ulf Uter prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jan Brouwers scored 7-0 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ulf Uter, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 93rd minute, Jan Brouwers made a precise shot to the right of Ulf Uter. Soerendonk HC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. Ulf Uter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boudewijn Middeljans, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. After a rather tough play, Soerendonk HC's Fred Aerssen got a free kick in the 96th minute.
