Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jhon Ros started the match with the kick off. Thijs Winters took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gooitzen Ellerman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 5 minutes, Lennart Tanis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Frieswijk and the Worsem players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Frieswijk's Lennart Tanis got a free kick in the 5th minute. Dries Sterenberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mark Kip, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th minute of the match, Mark Kip tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dries Sterenberg saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 16th minute Gooitzen Ellerman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thijs Winters saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Jhon Ros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Gooitzen Ellerman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gooitzen Ellerman struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Thijs Winters didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Frieswijk. In the 31st match minute, Worsem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeffrey de Koning to maneuver through the defense. Gooitzen Ellerman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Thijs Winters tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thijs Winters showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gooitzen Ellerman, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Jhon Ros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Thijs Winters tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mark Kip was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mathieu Aelbrecht in the 54th minute of play forced Frieswijk's goalkeeper Dries Sterenberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Frieswijk's goal looked a bit too open when Mathieu Aelbrecht came free, but Dries Sterenberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Frieswijk's goal looked a bit too open when Mark Kip came free, but Dries Sterenberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Worsem's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Dost was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dries Sterenberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mathieu Aelbrecht recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mark Kip in the 89th minute of play forced Frieswijk's goalkeeper Dries Sterenberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mathias van Rijswijk kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. When Worsem's Mark Kip, in the 95th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Worsem. When the match was over Frieswijk could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Worsem throughout the match.
