In the 19th minute, Pascall Haas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Roel Appeldoorn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franck Daelemans in the 22nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Lucas Ritsma managed to get in a good position for a shot. PSVertje's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucas Ritsma was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elroy Ponk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Elroy Ponk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lucas Ritsma in the 36th minute. In the 42nd minute Lucas Ritsma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elroy Ponk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 44 minutes, Lucas Ritsma managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PSVertje's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucas Ritsma was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Pascall Haas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. PSVertje's Pascall Haas got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcel Uebels was the one to do the kick off. If Franck Daelemans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pascall Haas scored 1-0 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elroy Ponk, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hubert Westerhof during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Lucas Ritsma might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Elroy Ponk. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lucas Ritsma ran back to his position shaking his head. If Geert van Dinteren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd minute Lucas Ritsma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elroy Ponk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Lucas Ritsma came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the PSVertje fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucas Ritsma couldn't finish the play. PSVertje's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
