Pascall Haas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Floris Vonk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pascall Haas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Floris Vonk having to make a save. When Felix Mulders fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PSVertje's protests and gave Felix Mulders a yellow card for diving instead. Felix Mulders kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Marnix Blom recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Boudewijn Grol's late challenge caught a Rozenburg HC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Boudewijn Grol helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Rozenburg HC booed when PSVertje was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boudewijn Grol didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Carel Brans kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Roel Appeldoorn. That made the score 1-0 in the 47 minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lucas Ritsma to strike the kick off in the second half. Floris Vonk was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lucas Ritsma showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 56 minute of play. Pascall Haas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Floris Vonk having to interfere. Roel Appeldoorn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan Hendrik Roordink, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carel Brans recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in PSVertje's zone, Jan Hendrik Roordink stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roel Appeldoorn came out of the goal and Jan Hendrik Roordink tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carel Brans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roel Appeldoorn having to interfere. Roel Appeldoorn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carel Brans in the 86th minute of play. Floris Vonk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Ritsma in the 89th minute of play. Carel Brans blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Roel Appeldoorn having to make a save. The Rozenburg HC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching PSVertje's performance. The match ended with a win for PSVertje.
