Spectators: 7432 (Terracing: 5575, Seating: 1709, VIP seats: 148) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Sjoerd Stroobos took the kick off in the first half of the match. Henry Zielman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Menno Meier in the 6th minute. In the 8th minute, Franck Oosterveld made a precise shot to the right of Niels Roelofs. SOAD FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Antoon van Dongen kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Franck Oosterveld received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Niels Roelofs tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, Real Brabant's Franck Oosterveld sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Niels Roelofs narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lukas Harmannus in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Niels Roelofs saved SOAD FC from getting behind. SOAD FC's Menno Meier got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Franck Oosterveld had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th match minute, SOAD FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henk Roodenburg to maneuver through the defense. In the 41st minute Real Brabant were awarded a corner. Frederik Robben went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Frederik Robben almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but SOAD FC's Niels Roelofs did a great save. After 42 minutes, Menno Meier mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SOAD FC and the Real Brabant players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 45 minutes SOAD FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Frederik Robben who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Martijn Blikman got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Niels Roelofs quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The SOAD FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Real Brabant were winning 0-1.

In the 55th minute Menno Meier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henry Zielman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antoon van Dongen hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 56 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Menno Meier sped through Real Brabant's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Henry Zielman. In the 62nd minute Sjoerd Stroobos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henry Zielman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, Real Brabant's goal looked a bit too open when Sjoerd Stroobos came free, but Henry Zielman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SOAD FC's Niels Roelofs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franck Oosterveld in the 67th minute of play. Lukas Harmannus's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 69thth minute, Niels Roelofs skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Henry Zielman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sjoerd Stroobos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Franck Oosterveld fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niels Roelofs having to interfere. SOAD FC's Niels Roelofs proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save SOAD FC from getting a goal against them. When Cees de Zwaan fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SOAD FC's protests and gave Cees de Zwaan a yellow card for diving instead. Lukas Harmannus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
