Spectators: 7351 (Terracing: 5514, Seating: 1690, VIP seats: 147) Real Brabant's Franck Oosterveld started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Mathias Siemers managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Flop's supporters rose to their feet, but Mathias Siemers was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Henry Zielman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in FC Flop's zone, Franck Oosterveld stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Steven Strobos came out of the goal and Franck Oosterveld tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 17 minutes, Lukas Harmannus mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real Brabant and the FC Flop players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 17th match minute, Real Brabant was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lukas Harmannus to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th match minute, Real Brabant was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niek Bont to maneuver through the defense. Real Brabant's Henry Zielman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Real Brabant from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Real Brabant's zone, Bill Fikkers stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henry Zielman came out of the goal and Bill Fikkers tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 29th minute, Antoon van Dongen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Real Brabant's goalkeeper Henry Zielman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When FC Flop's Mathias Siemers in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Real Brabant's goalie prevented a goal. In the 33rd minute, FC Flop's Mathias Siemers dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Lukas Harmannus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Richard Veltrop fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Brabant's protests and gave Richard Veltrop a yellow card for diving instead. Mathias Siemers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henry Zielman having to interfere. After having played for 44 minutes, Mathias Siemers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Flop's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mathias Siemers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Mathias Siemers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mathias Siemers to make the kick off. Real Brabant's Lukas Harmannus came free and shot a quick shot against goal 54 minutes in the game, fortunately Steven Strobos had problems saving as it came toward the left post. In the 59th match minute, Real Brabant was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niek Bont to maneuver through the defense. 60 minutes into the match, FC Flop's Johannes Haar broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mathias Siemers in the 62nd minute of play forced Real Brabant's goalkeeper Henry Zielman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henry Zielman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mathias Siemers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bill Fikkers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Henry Zielman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 76 minutes into the game, FC Flop's Mathias Siemers nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Henry Zielman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 86th minute Mathias Siemers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henry Zielman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Steven Strobos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franck Oosterveld, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. If Mathias Siemers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bill Fikkers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Henry Zielman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FC Flop had played much better football throughout.
