Hans van Dessel made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Jean-Paul Heikens sent off a good shot on target. Frederik Weinands showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wouter Nyemanting in the 9th minute of the match. Hans van Dessel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jean-Paul Heikens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Hans van Dessel managed to avoid a goal in the 18thth minute, when Eagles's Jean-Paul Heikens fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Hans van Dessel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jean-Paul Heikens in the 21st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jean-Paul Heikens got free with Hans van Dessel in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nico-Jan van Zeggeren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. The referee ignored Eagles's protests and gave Steve Overdiep a yellow card for diving instead. After 78 played minutes Eagles got a freekick which was hit by Steve Overdiep. Nico-Jan van Zeggeren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frederik Weinands having to interfere. After 81 minutes, Wouter Nyemanting mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Westbroek HC and the Eagles players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 81st match minute, Westbroek HC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wouter Nyemanting to maneuver through the defense. Hans van Dessel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jean-Paul Heikens in the 90th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Eagles fully deserved thier win.
