In the 14th minute Godfried van Driest shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hendrik-Jan Willemsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lukas Sturm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jan-Willem Scholte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hendrik-Jan Willemsen having to interfere. Graspeel FC's Benjamin Spierenburg managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jan-Willem Scholte in the 93 minute of the game.
