In the 27th match minute, Oegstgeest was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Govert Koopmans to maneuver through the defense. Oegstgeest's Jan Weinands proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Oegstgeest from getting a goal against them. One of 1. FC Schwalbe:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Oegstgeest:s goal. Bob Paauwe shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by 苏亦瑜 in the 48th minute of play forced Oegstgeest's goalkeeper Jan Weinands to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
