Ate Kik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Youri Waesbergen, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Alfred Tevreden did an outstanding performance 39 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 1-0 to the right of an irritated Karel Spannenburg in the goal. The corner ended in Marcel Hilberts almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Meliestraat SC's Ate Kik did a great save.
