Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Andreas Verweijen started the match with the kick off. When Henry van Zalingen came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Graspeel FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henry van Zalingen couldn't finish the play. Niek Pilage hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 14th minute, Jan Smits left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Warande S.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Max van Herwijnen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elbert van Persie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hendrik-Jan Willemsen having to interfere. Boudewijn Post made in the 23rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Graspeel FC's Benjamin Spierenburg. In the 25th minute, Andreas Verweijen made a precise shot to the right of Hendrik-Jan Willemsen. Graspeel FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After 28 minutes of play, Warande S.C.'s Andreas Verweijen made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hendrik-Jan Willemsen was left in no man's land by his defense there! 37 minutes into the match, Warande S.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Lukas Sturm came free, but Vincent Haas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st match minute, Graspeel FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chris Adelaar to maneuver through the defense. In the 42nd minute of the match Max van Herwijnen sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hendrik-Jan Willemsen skillfully saved the ball. Ferdi Hermensen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vincent Haas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. 45 minutes in the game Chris Adelaar did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Lucas Stuifzand. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ferdi Hermensen was the one to do the kick off. Chris Adelaar got a throw-in 51 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Lucas Stuifzand. 55 minutes into the match, Graspeel FC's goal looked a bit too open when Andreas Verweijen came free, but Hendrik-Jan Willemsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 56 minutes into the game, Lucas Stuifzand threw the ball into play from the sideline. Warande S.C.'s Boukjan Borker quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 57 minutes into the match, Boukjan Borker notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Graspeel FC's Hendrik-Jan Willemsen. Hendrik-Jan Willemsen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ferdi Hermensen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vincent Haas having to make a save. Chris Adelaar's late challenge caught a Warande S.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Chris Adelaar helped the player get up and apologised. 63 minutes into the game, one of Graspeel FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 67 minutes in the game, Jan Smits fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Hendrik-Jan Willemsen having to interfere. Andreas Verweijen might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hendrik-Jan Willemsen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andreas Verweijen ran back to his position shaking his head. The Warande S.C. fans' excitement grew in the 73rd match minute when Warande S.C.'s Andreas Verweijen looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Andreas Verweijen struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Hendrik-Jan Willemsen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Warande S.C.. After a defensive mix-up in Warande S.C.'s zone, Henry van Zalingen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vincent Haas came out of the goal and Henry van Zalingen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lukas Sturm might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vincent Haas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lukas Sturm ran back to his position shaking his head. Ferdi Hermensen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lukas Sturm in the 92nd minute of play forced Warande S.C.'s goalkeeper Vincent Haas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 98 minutes into the match, Graspeel FC's goal looked a bit too open when Andreas Verweijen came free, but Hendrik-Jan Willemsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Graspeel FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Warande S.C.'s performance. The match ended with a win for Warande S.C..
