Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Joop Penders made the kick off and thus started the match. Edward Robben fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dirk Frankena having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Bijsterveld's zone, Edward Robben stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dirk Frankena came out of the goal and Edward Robben tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edward Otten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dirk Frankena having to interfere. Edward Robben kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, Bijsterveld's goalkeeper Dirk Frankena had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edward Robben. After a rather tough play, Bijsterveld's Hubert Kuijpers got a free kick in the 19th minute. Edward Robben struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Dirk Frankena didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Burgh HC. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edward Otten in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dirk Frankena saved Bijsterveld from getting behind. Edward Robben recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edward Otten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Burgh HC booed when Bijsterveld was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacob van den Bergh didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Diderik Wilson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd match minute, Burgh HC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnold Koops to maneuver through the defense. Burgh HC's Alex Toolenaar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diderik Wilson in the 33rd minute of play. The Burgh HC fans' excitement grew in the 35th match minute when Burgh HC's Edward Otten looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Hans-Cees Janssens kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edward Otten to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Hubert Kuijpers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Edward Robben had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dirk Frankena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Robben, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. After 68 minutes of play, Burgh HC's Edward Robben made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dirk Frankena was left in no man's land by his defense there! 71 minutes into the match, Burgh HC's goal looked a bit too open when Joop Penders came free, but Alex Toolenaar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Henk Paauwe hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Dirk Frankena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Robben, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edward Robben received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Dirk Frankena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dirk Frankena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Robben in the 78th minute of play. In the 85th minute, Edward Otten got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 87th minute, Edward Robben ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dirk Frankena was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Edward Robben recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
