Spectators: 6836 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1836, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Andreas Verweijen in the 5th minute of play forced Bijsterveld's goalkeeper Dirk Frankena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maurice Jol's late challenge caught a Warande S.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maurice Jol helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Warande S.C. booed when Bijsterveld was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maurice Jol didn't get a good kick on the ball. Andreas Verweijen scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dirk Frankena, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Andreas Verweijen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 17 minutes, Vincent Haas successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Andreas Verweijen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dirk Frankena having to interfere. Bijsterveld's Dirk Frankena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elbert van Persie in the 23rd minute of play. Andreas Verweijen took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dirk Frankena. Dirk Frankena dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. After 30 minutes of play, Warande S.C.'s Andreas Verweijen made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dirk Frankena was left in no man's land by his defense there! Andreas Verweijen struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Dirk Frankena didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Warande S.C.. In the 34th minute, Maurice Jol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 35th match minute, Warande S.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boudewijn Post to maneuver through the defense. Elbert van Persie might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dirk Frankena. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Elbert van Persie ran back to his position shaking his head. Andreas Verweijen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Dirk Frankena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Boudewijn Post left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Warande S.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. In the 46th minute Andreas Verweijen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dirk Frankena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, Bijsterveld's goal looked a bit too open when Remco Tamminga came free, but Dirk Frankena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The wind increased when Andreas Verweijen made the kick off in the second half. Elbert van Persie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Dirk Frankena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andreas Verweijen struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Warande S.C.'s manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 61 minutes into the match, Bijsterveld's goalkeeper Dirk Frankena had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Boukjan Borker. When Andreas Verweijen, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 62 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Dirk Frankena was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Andreas Verweijen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dirk Frankena having to interfere. When Andreas Verweijen came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Warande S.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andreas Verweijen couldn't finish the play. Dirk Frankena made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andreas Verweijen in the 71st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Bijsterveld's zone, Elbert van Persie stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dirk Frankena came out of the goal and Elbert van Persie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dirk Frankena came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Warande S.C.'s Andreas Verweijen. But to his dismay, Andreas Verweijen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. In the 84th minute, Remco Tamminga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Andreas Verweijen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 87 minutes into the match, Warande S.C.'s Remco Tamminga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dirk Frankena narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Warande S.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Max van Herwijnen in the 89th minute. After taking down the ball on Warande S.C.'s corner Max van Herwijnen fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dirk Frankena quite easily take care of the ball. Dirk Frankena stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andreas Verweijen's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Vincent Haas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joop Penders in the 94th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andreas Verweijen in the 95th minute of play forced Bijsterveld's goalkeeper Dirk Frankena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Warande S.C. played a much better game than Bijsterveld and deserved their victory. The Bijsterveld players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
