Spectators: 7767 (Terracing: 5962, Seating: 1750, VIP seats: 55) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniël Arnolds started the match with the kick off. Ab van der Aa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kurt Zondervan in the 3rd minute of play. Humberto Hesp who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 7thth minute tested the skills of Ab van der Aa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Antoon Moes kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Edgard Mülder recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 12 minutes, Humberto Hesp made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Eind Excelsior's Ab van der Aa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Reinhard de Jong showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniël Arnolds, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Humberto Hesp sped through Eind Excelsior's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ab van der Aa. Humberto Hesp did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised Ab van der Aa 23 minutes into the match. When 1. FC Schwalbe's Humberto Hesp in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Eind Excelsior's goalie prevented a goal. Kurt Zondervan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Humberto Hesp's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 39thth minute, Ab van der Aa skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The supporters of Eind Excelsior booed when 1. FC Schwalbe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Humberto Hesp didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ab van der Aa made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Humberto Hesp sent off a good shot on target. Kurt Zondervan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ab van der Aa came out and tried to block the shot, but Kurt Zondervan slotted it home off the left post making it 6-0 in the 46th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Humberto Hesp to make the kick off. Ab van der Aa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humberto Hesp in the 54th minute of play. Kurt Zondervan took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ab van der Aa. Ab van der Aa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. 1. FC Schwalbe's Kurt Zondervan got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 1. FC Schwalbe's Humberto Hesp got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Humberto Hesp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kurt Zondervan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ab van der Aa having to interfere. In the 72nd minute Marnix Deijkers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ab van der Aa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Humberto Hesp's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ab van der Aa was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. Gerrit Mensing's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Reinhard de Jong firmly grabbed it by the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Kurt Zondervan managed to get in a good position for a shot. 1. FC Schwalbe's supporters rose to their feet, but Kurt Zondervan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ab van der Aa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kurt Zondervan in the 79th minute of play forced Eind Excelsior's goalkeeper Ab van der Aa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner ended in Evert Rogaars almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Eind Excelsior's Ab van der Aa did a great save. 1. FC Schwalbe made a substitution. Arne Bouwman replaced Humberto Hesp. Co Lange hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. When Harold Hofs came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Eind Excelsior fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Harold Hofs couldn't finish the play. Ab van der Aa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgard Mülder in the 96th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the 1. FC Schwalbe players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
