The Maersk Kampala fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Through an outstanding action, after 35 minutes, Dennis Koopmans successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joep Werner during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Maersk Kampala to win.
