The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, New Gooxtonian Boys's Coenraad Wilmink got control of the ball when Hannes Kjellkvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sipke van Zeist hit a great ball. 19 minutes into the match, Spoorbuurt's goal looked a bit too open when Hans Fokkelman came free, but Rıfat Yazar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Coenraad Wilmink tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Spoorbuurt booed when New Gooxtonian Boys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kees Eising didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30th match minute, New Gooxtonian Boys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maurice Wikenburg to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jelte Sturkenboom got free with Coenraad Wilmink in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Spoorbuurt's Rıfat Yazar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sipke van Zeist in the 37th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Spoorbuurt's Hannes Kjellkvist got a free kick in the 38th minute. Hannes Kjellkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Coenraad Wilmink having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Anthon Knutsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 43 minutes of play, New Gooxtonian Boys's Hans Fokkelman made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rıfat Yazar was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to New Gooxtonian Boys getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Sipke van Zeist hit a great ball. Hannes Kjellkvists short, quick shot in the 48thth minute got Coenraad Wilmink to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hannes Kjellkvist to make the kick off. Hans Fokkelman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Rıfat Yazar made a huge save. Hannes Kjellkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Coenraad Wilmink showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jelte Sturkenboom in the 55th minute of the match. After having played for 59 minutes, Hannes Kjellkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Spoorbuurt's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hannes Kjellkvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hannes Kjellkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Coenraad Wilmink having to interfere. Damien de Jong kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Rıfat Yazar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maurice Wikenburg in the 66th minute of play. When Hannes Kjellkvist came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Spoorbuurt fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hannes Kjellkvist couldn't finish the play. Coenraad Wilmink made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hannes Kjellkvist in the 72nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hannes Kjellkvist in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Coenraad Wilmink prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hannes Kjellkvist in the 80th minute of play forced New Gooxtonian Boys's goalkeeper Coenraad Wilmink to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 84 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Hannes Kjellkvist sped through New Gooxtonian Boys's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Coenraad Wilmink. After a rather tough play, New Gooxtonian Boys's Sipke van Zeist got a free kick in the 86th minute. With 88 minutes on the clock, Auke van Amersfoort commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 88 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for New Gooxtonian Boys! In the 89th minute there was a penalty for Spoorbuurt. Hannes Kjellkvist stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Coenraad Wilmink. 4-1. 93 minutes into the game, Andre Schophuis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Spoorbuurt's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave New Gooxtonian Boys the free kick. After a rather tough play, Spoorbuurt's Andre Schophuis got a free kick in the 93rd minute. 94 minutes into the match, Spoorbuurt's goalkeeper Rıfat Yazar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hans Fokkelman. If Hannes Kjellkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
