Spectators: 7758 (Terracing: 5800, Seating: 1800, VIP seats: 158) New Gooxtonian Boys's Maurice Wikenburg started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pierre Hanekamp during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Vleut RKSV getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Pierre Hanekamp hit a great ball. When Hans Fokkelman came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the New Gooxtonian Boys fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hans Fokkelman couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pierre Hanekamp got free with Coenraad Wilmink in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 8 minutes into the match, Vleut RKSV's goal looked a bit too open when Sipke van Zeist came free, but Coenraad Genkenaar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Coenraad Genkenaar came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by New Gooxtonian Boys's Hans Fokkelman. But to his dismay, Hans Fokkelman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Oscar Kuijsten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Vleut RKSV defense, Hans Fokkelman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Coenraad Genkenaar. The Vleut RKSV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Coenraad Genkenaar should have stopped the shot. 24 minutes into the game, Hans Fokkelman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Coenraad Genkenaar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to New Gooxtonian Boys getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Jordy Achterberg hit a great ball. Maurice Wikenburg scored 0-4 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Coenraad Genkenaar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sipke van Zeist in the 34th minute of play forced Vleut RKSV's goalkeeper Coenraad Genkenaar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gerrie Heije fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Coenraad Wilmink having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Gerrie Heije managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vleut RKSV's supporters rose to their feet, but Gerrie Heije was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Coenraad Wilmink breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gerrie Heije who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 41stth minute tested the skills of Coenraad Wilmink when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Coenraad Genkenaar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kees Eising in the 43rd minute of the match. Gerrie Heije fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Coenraad Wilmink having to interfere. The wind increased when Gerrie Heije made the kick off in the second half. Coenraad Genkenaar made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Hans Fokkelman sent off a good shot on target. Vleut RKSV's Coenraad Genkenaar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sipke van Zeist in the 59th minute of play. In the 61st match minute, Vleut RKSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bert Seedorf to maneuver through the defense. Coenraad Genkenaar was out of position in the 64 minute of play, and Sipke van Zeist capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sipke van Zeist really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. Vleut RKSV's Gerard Jacobs quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Damien de Jong, made in the 68th minute of the game. If Pierre Hanekamp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kees Eising could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Coenraad Genkenaar made a huge save. Kees Eising's late challenge caught a Vleut RKSV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kees Eising helped the player get up and apologised. In the 82nd minute of the match, Kees Eising got a very nice opportunity to score, but Coenraad Genkenaar was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Vleut RKSV's attentive Ab Ter managed to snatch the ball when Damien de Jong made a throw-in in the 84th minute of the game. In the 84th minute, Gerrie Heije got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. During the 85th minute of the match Kees Eising completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Kees Eising a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Kees Eising kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Gerrie Heije's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Coenraad Wilmink read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. Maurice Wikenburg hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. New Gooxtonian Boys had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
