The supporters of Wings on Ice booed when Zwanegat was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hette Molnar didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th minute Domenik Popping shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacco Popken saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Wings on Ice's Jacco Popken got control of the ball when Domenik Popping tried to sneak it across the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Domenik Popping had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jacco Popken. Wings on Ice's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Domenik Popping was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Hette Molnar was extremely unlucky when he, in the 23rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Hette Molnar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Jacco Popken made a huge save. 27 minutes into the match, Zwanegat's goal looked a bit too open when Luuk Verheije came free, but Mart Bok reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute, Zwanegat's Domenik Popping dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Thanks to some nice moves Domenik Popping could shoot a difficult shot in the 35th minute, which Jacco Popken however easily saved by the left post. After 36 minutes of play, Wings on Ice's Luuk Verheije made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mart Bok was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Domenik Popping took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Jacco Popken to make any attempt to save it. Hette Molnar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 53rd minute, Domenik Popping made a precise shot to the right of Jacco Popken. Wings on Ice's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Domenik Popping took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jacco Popken. Jacco Popken dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. After 64 played minutes Wings on Ice got a freekick which was hit by Johannes Klooster. If Domenik Popping had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Hette Molnar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Domenik Popping came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Zwanegat fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Domenik Popping couldn't finish the play. Domenik Popping fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacco Popken having to interfere. In the 87th match minute, Zwanegat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karsten van Zeggeren to maneuver through the defense. Jacco Popken came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Zwanegat's Sjoerd van Rhijn. But to his dismay, Sjoerd van Rhijn quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-1. There was no doubt that Zwanegat were the better team. Zwanegat's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
