Spectators: 8006 (Terracing: 6046, Seating: 1800, VIP seats: 160) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mathieu Schophuis took the kick off in the first half of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mathieu Schophuis got free with José Dias in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 7 minutes into the match, Heideheim FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rogier de Kort came free, but José Dias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 8 minutes had been played when some careless play by Heideheim FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marc Olfers was slow to take the kick. During this time Zwagerveen's players had a chance to rest. Marc Olfers made a great header on Zwagerveen's corner, it was just that Heideheim FC's José Dias managed to reach the ball for a save. Matijs Hensmans took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Foeke Assendelft. The referee ignored Heideheim FC's protests and gave Stef van Loen a yellow card for diving instead. After 20 played minutes Heideheim FC got a freekick which was hit by Stef van Loen. Through an outstanding action, after 22 minutes, José Dias successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Emil Teuben took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Foeke Assendelft. Foeke Assendelft dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Mathieu Schophuis in the 27thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of José Dias, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 28thth minute of the game Mathieu Schophuis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Heideheim FC's José Dias was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 30th minute Mark Heitinga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Dias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rogier de Kort in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck José Dias prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jacobus Haydon's late challenge caught a Heideheim FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jacobus Haydon helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Heideheim FC booed when Zwagerveen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacobus Haydon didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd minute, Zwagerveen's Marc Olfers ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind José Dias. José Dias yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. After the first half Heideheim FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Matijs Hensmans to make the kick off. Foeke Assendelft showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henk-Jan Schuurmans in the 67th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Heideheim FC's Stef van Loen got a free kick in the 73rd minute. When Sjors Wessel fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Heideheim FC's protests and gave Sjors Wessel a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Zwagerveen booed when Heideheim FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sjors Wessel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jacobus Haydon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. José Dias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 86 played minutes Heideheim FC got a freekick which was hit by Thijs Stroobos. José Dias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mathieu Schophuis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 89 minutes, Foeke Assendelft successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The Zwagerveen manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Heideheim FC to win.
