Spectators: 8002 (Terracing: 6003, Seating: 1840, VIP seats: 159) Alfred Som started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a rather tough play, SAFA United's Guus Schophuis got a free kick in the 7th minute. After a defensive mix-up in SAFA United's zone, Jurgen Saelman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jan Israel came out of the goal and Jurgen Saelman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ronald Hofman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pieter-Jan Klaus read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joost Reitsma during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Joost Reitsma kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. After some careless play in the SAFA United defense, Alfred Som kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jan Israel. The SAFA United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jan Israel should have stopped the shot. Guus Schophuis kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Jacobus Hindriks charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jacobus Hindriks the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, SAFA United's Jacobus Hindriks got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 29thth minute of the game Jurgen Saelman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SAFA United's Jan Israel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Jurgen Saelman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Ronald Hofman managed to get in a good position for a shot. SAFA United's supporters rose to their feet, but Ronald Hofman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pieter-Jan Klaus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jan Israel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfred Som in the 48th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

55 minutes into the match, SAFA United's goal looked a bit too open when Alfred Som came free, but Jan Israel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ronald Hofman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pieter-Jan Klaus having to interfere. Pieter-Jan Klaus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronald Hofman in the 61st minute of play. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Alfred Som took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Jan Israel to make any attempt to save it. In the 69th minute, Jurgen Saelman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Erik Vonk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pieter-Jan Klaus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erik Vonk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 80 played minutes Knabbel en Babbel got a freekick which was hit by Jan Reintjes. Jacques van der Werff hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Alfred Som fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Israel having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Knabbel en Babbel's Jacques van der Werff got a free kick in the 97th minute. The SAFA United fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Knabbel en Babbel were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
