With a little luck, Vinkeveen FC's Mathias Reinhard got control of the ball when Ab Klerk tried to sneak it across the goal line. Oldetrine's Ab Klerk got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mathias Reinhard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renatinho Nascimento, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Arie Oosterman was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 21 minutes into the match. 21 minutes into the game, one of Vinkeveen FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 23 minutes, Oldetrine's Jim Bakker got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Mathias Reinhard. Jim Bakker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathias Reinhard having to interfere. Mathias Reinhard didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 35th minute, which inside left pole to 4-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jim Bakker in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mathias Reinhard saved Vinkeveen FC from getting behind. After some careless play in the Vinkeveen FC defense, Ab Klerk kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mathias Reinhard. The Vinkeveen FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mathias Reinhard should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Renatinho Nascimento got free with Mathias Reinhard in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ab Klerk to make the kick off. Vinkeveen FC's Mathias Reinhard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ab Klerk in the 53rd minute of play. After 56 played minutes Vinkeveen FC got a freekick which was hit by Wouter Heitinga. Mathias Reinhard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jim Bakker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 64 played minutes Oldetrine got a freekick which was hit by Ruben Ottenhof. Jim Bakker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 69 minutes into the match, Ab Klerk had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mathias Reinhard. Vinkeveen FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ab Klerk was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. The supporters of Oldetrine booed when Vinkeveen FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jordy Hindriks didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Ab Klerk got free in front of the goal in the 76th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Mathias Reinhard was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Oldetrine's attentive Ricardo Laguardia managed to snatch the ball when Dirk de Bruin made a throw-in in the 78th minute of the game. After some careless play in the Vinkeveen FC defense, Ab Klerk kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mathias Reinhard. The Vinkeveen FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mathias Reinhard should have stopped the shot. Jordy Hindriks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 86th minute, Jim Bakker made a precise shot to the right of Mathias Reinhard. Vinkeveen FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. Oldetrine's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ricardo Laguardia in the 91st minute. The corner led Oldetrine's Ricardo Laguardia to fire away a dangerous shot which Mathias Reinhard despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.
