An unexpectedly hard shot by Evert Swart in the 11th minute of play forced Laak Eendracht's goalkeeper Gio Theissen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute, Niek Velthuis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 18 in the game by Arjen van der Valk from a close distance when the talented Evert Holsmuller managed to make a qualified save. BelaVista FC's players were relieved. The supporters of BelaVista FC booed when Laak Eendracht was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arjen van der Valk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Evert Holsmuller came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Laak Eendracht's Arjen van der Valk. Emre Çalkın who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 25thth minute tested the skills of Evert Holsmuller when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Evert Holsmuller came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Laak Eendracht's Arjen van der Valk. But to his dismay, Arjen van der Valk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. After having played for 30 minutes, Michael Daverveld managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Laak Eendracht's supporters crossed their fingers, but Michael Daverveld was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 36 minutes into the match, Laak Eendracht's Emre Çalkın sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Evert Holsmuller narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 41st minute, Mark Boezem left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BelaVista FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. A collision led to BelaVista FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Marco Oosterman hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arjen van der Valk got free with Evert Holsmuller in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.
