Ruud Broers helped the player get up and apologised. Ruud Broers kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. SAFA United's Ronald Hofman got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Guus Schophuis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathias Reinhard having to interfere. Mathias Reinhard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronald Hofman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronald Hofman in the 32nd minute of play forced Vinkeveen FC's goalkeeper Mathias Reinhard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the match, SAFA United's goalkeeper Jan Israel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jordy Hindriks. If Jordy Hindriks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, SAFA United's Jan Israel got control of the ball when Jordy Hindriks tried to sneak it across the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ronald Hofman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes of play, Vinkeveen FC's Ruud Broers made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jan Israel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vinkeveen FC's Mathias Reinhard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dennis Holten in the 57th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Ronald Hofman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 59th minute, Ruud Broers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Ronald Hofman managed to get in a good position for a shot. SAFA United's supporters rose to their feet, but Ronald Hofman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mathias Reinhard breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 64th minute, Ruud Broers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mathias Reinhard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronald Hofman in the 69th minute of play. SAFA United made a substitution. Erik Vonk replaced Ronald Hofman. The goalkeeper, Mathias Reinhard, was totally fooled by SAFA United's Joost Reitsma, who 76 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side.
