Pieter-Jan Klaus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arno Degenkamp in the 11th minute of the match. Pieter-Jan Klaus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donny Hermensen, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. When Hoogedorp de beste's Arno Degenkamp in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 35th minute, Alfred Som got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arno Degenkamp took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pieter-Jan Klaus. Pieter-Jan Klaus dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Pieter-Jan Klaus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donny Hermensen in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arno Degenkamp was the one to do the kick off. Pieter-Jan Klaus made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Donny Hermensen sent off a good shot on target. Pieter-Jan Klaus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donny Hermensen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arno Degenkamp could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Pieter-Jan Klaus made a huge save. Wasyl Golembiewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jurgen Saelman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 60th minute, Arno Degenkamp left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hoogedorp de beste fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. 67 minutes into the game, Arno Degenkamp cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Pieter-Jan Klaus was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Giel Reis hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Knabbel en Babbel's goalkeeper Pieter-Jan Klaus, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 82nd minute, Hoogedorp de beste's Donny Hermensen ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pieter-Jan Klaus. Pieter-Jan Klaus yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. Fabian Meulenbergh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pieter-Jan Klaus made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arno Degenkamp in the 90th minute. When Arno Degenkamp was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 93 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Hoogedorp de beste's Arno Degenkamp got a free kick in the 94th minute. When the final whistle sounded Hoogedorp de beste left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Knabbel en Babbel.
